Artist Statement:

“This artwork symbolizes the many roles I embrace in my life—an artist, a daughter, a friend, and a community leader. Each shape and color in the painting symbolizes a different part of who I am, coming together to form a unified character. The bold lines and fragmented sections reflect the complexity of balancing these roles, while the vibrant colors represent the energy and passion, I bring to each of them.

As a daughter, I’m shaped by love and support. As a friend, I value connection and loyalty. As an artist, I express creativity and emotion. And as a community leader, I strive to give back and inspire those around me.

Through this painting, I want to show that the different pieces of our lives are not separate — they overlap and influence each other, forming a beautiful character that’s constantly growing and evolving.”
