Artist Statement
In this artwork, I wanted to show how music, art, and time are connected. I used bold colors and strong shapes in a cubist style to bring everything together—like a red guitar, a paint palette, and an hourglass—because each represents something powerful: creativity, expression, and how fast or slow time can feel when you’re making or enjoying art.
The black, white, and gray background shows how life can feel dull without art, while the bright red stands for passion. I believe that when we create or listen to music or paint, we are not just passing time—we’re making something meaningful that lasts even when the moment is gone. Through this piece, I want to remind everyone, especially kids like me, that art and music aren’t just hobbies—they’re powerful ways to speak and feel without words.
